Hi all! Thank you for sharing your time with me on here. This platform has developed a special place in my life and is important to me along with all of you.

One of my idols is Audrey Hepburn and something she said has always resonated with me. "The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it's all that matters." Now, happiness can mean and be so many different things to people but to me it's a feeling and can be found in the little things you do for yourself and the things you do for others. In this blog I'll give you examples of how to make yourself happier scientifically (exercise, eating right, etc.) but I'll also give you tips on making yourself happier with yourself and with the life you live while still striving for goals you set for yourself.

Striving towards higher and more challenging goals and remaining happy with yourself as a person is a fine line to tread and I can vouch for that. As someone who has always tried for those more challenging goals and expected a lot of herself, I can advocate how hard it is to not get frustrated with yourself and lose sight of how happy you are as the woman you are. In elementary school I was super shy and was that quiet smarty pants that girls couldn't stand. So, safe to say I was set down the path to stay quiet and stay in the background and attempt to stay average to fit in. But, my junior year I flowered and my confidence grew tenfold. I became way happier with myself and learned the importance of taking time to be myself and clarify my mental state. And that is what I hope to do for you!
